கிரிக்கெட் வரலாற்றில் பல்வேறு சாதனைகளை படைத்து கிரிக்கெட் ரசிகா்கள் அனைவருக்கும் ரோல் மாடலாக திகழ்பவா் சச்சின் டெண்டுல்கா். கிரிக்கெட்டின் கடுவுள் போல கருதப்படும் சச்சின் ஆரம்பத்தில் பந்து வீச்சில் தான் கவனம் செலுத்தினாராம். ஆனால், அவரது தொடக்க கால பயிற்சியாளரான ரமாகாந்த் அச்ரேக்கா் தான் அவரை பேட்டிங்கில் கவனம் செலுத்துமாறு கூறியுள்ளாா்.
சச்சினின் 11ஆவது வயதில், அச்ரேக்கர் அறிமுகமானார். பிரவீன் ஆம்ரே, வினோத் காம்ப்ளி, சமீர் டீகே மற்றும் பல்வீந்தர் சிங் சாந்து போன்ற வீரர்களுக்கும் அச்ரேக்கர், தான் பயிற்சியாளர் . பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் துரோணாச்சரியர் விருது பெற்றவர் .
இந்நிலையில், ரமாகாந்த் அச்ரேக்கா் வயது முதிா்வு காரணமாக நேற்று காலமானாா். அவருக்கு வயது 87.
